My evening with Papa and Nana!

On Wednesday my daddy played softball and my mamma played volleyball, and I played with my Papa and Nana! My papa got a brand new really cool camera and took these pics. I had fun in the bath tub er sink! Thank you for taking great care of me! I also got to see my Uncle Todd who I haven't seen in a long time. This is my 2nd uncle Todd he is my daddy's brother.

Prayers please

This beautiful little girl is need of your prayers. Her name is Abigail Jane (AJ) and she will be one month old tomorrow (June 28). Happy birthday little lady! Her daddy has been fighting for our country and now he's home to help his little angel with her own fight. She was diagnosed with Zellweger Syndrome. She is currently in the NICU of Wilford Hall in San Antonio. She's got fabulous parents who are ready to fight with her. Her parents are friends of my parents (her mamma is from Seguin). Please keep the Warren family in your thoughts and prayers.

Out of Africa... thank goodness!

Well my papa and pama are finally home and we've spent some quality time together. We had the pleasure of having them over for dinner on Monday (a belated father's day dinner). They fed me some nummy sweet taters and rice... and then we they got to eat their adult food on the back porch. Man I wish it wasn't so hot outside, because I'd be out there all the time. I like nothing more than to be in my swing. The good news is that mommy and daddy got a fan and they still let me swing out there with it pointing on me. It feels kinda funny because my hair blows, but I love it. Oh back to papa and pama. I am getting to know them again since they were gone so long, and it's all coming back to me quickly. I missed them so much. I am so glad that they are home safe and sound, I love you!

I'm a proud lil' bro!

Kayson went to camp at the Outdoor Learning Center last week with our buddy Blake. Kayson received the award for most energetic camper and Blake was given the best animal sound award! Way to go! They had so much fun fishing, canoeing, exploring and crafting. I can't wait until I am old enough to go too!

Happy Father's Day!!!

My dad is definitely the dad of the year, no doubt! Thank you so much for taking care of me and Kayson. We're so lucky to have you! From the very beginning you've been so fabulous. It's only going to get better...I love you!

Summertime fun!

I went swimming for the first time on Friday! I had a blast kicking my little pudgy legs. My brother had fun pushing me around too! We went to my God parent's house and they let us use their pool! My brother's friend Blake was there splashing around too (it's his house!). The only part I didn't like was when my mommy had to slather on the sunblock, but I survived it. Can't wait to go swimming again!

My Tio (Uncle) Todd!

My Tio Todd drove in from Albuquerque just to see me! Well maybe it was more to play golf, but he definitely wanted to see me too! He hasn't seen me since I was a teeny tiny baby. He was so surprised at how big I am now. I loved pulling on his long hair and grabbing his beard too! My brother Kayson loves to see Tio Todd too. They wrestle and have a great time together. I hope I get to see him again soon!

Weekend fun at the Kane/Lietz Diamante Ranch!

On Sunday we went to Bulverde to visit Chelsea and her family. It was a beautful drive and a beautiful ranch. We got to see a Zedonk! What's a Zedonk you ask? Well it's half donkey and half zebra of course. Now that's not something you see everyday. She was very friendly and patient with all of the kiddos. My brother had a blast running around, jumping on the trampoline, eating yummy food and swimming with all of the other boys and girls. I got spoiled the whole time. I was held by lots of people and given tons of attention. I didn't need toys they had fun stuff like an empty water bottle, picnic pack and even a (closed) pack of cigarettes that kept me occupied for a long time. I also got to bounce around on the swingset in a johnny jumper. I was pretty pooped (so was Kayson!) when we left, but it was a wonderful time. Thank you Chelsea, Skip and Mr. & Mrs. Kane!

My VCUG

My test went just fine on Friday. It wasn't the funnest thing I've ever done, but I was definitely a good boy. I cried, but I bet you would too if you had to get a catheter in your private spot! It was really neat because the same pediatric radiologist from Friday's test also did the procedure while I was still in the NICU back in November. He remembered me and said I was a good boy back then too. He was very nice and took great care of me. It only took about 15 minutes. After we did that we left the hospital and went to Dr. Bartholomew's office. He was shocked at how much growing that I've been doing. He is also so nice to me and explains everything so well to my mommy and daddy. The best news of the day is that I don't have to take my antibiotic medication any more!! It is so yucky and I used to scream with every singel dose! I am medicine free, finally! The VCUG test showed that I don't have any reflux which is great. It also showed that I have a ureteral seal and diverticulum of the bladder (which we already knew). Both of which aren't currently causing any problems. I may have to have surgery to correct these one day, but not today! Dr. B. wants me to have another renal scan and VCUG done in September to see how things are at that point with both my bladder and kidney. So today was another positive day for me! The best part is that my papa and pama are back home safe and sound. They're a little bit thinner than they were before they left, but doing great! They are excited to eat some yummy, fattening American food and get lots of Kouper time! Love that!
(In the photos above you'll see that my daddy (and mommy not pictured) had to wear these heavy aprons to protect them from the x-ray. You can hardly see in the bottom photo, but it is my bladder we saw the dye going in and out of it.)
